Connell Homes (private and family owned and operated) was established in 1997 by Brian (president), Tammy, Leroy and Ruthanne Connell all of which combines over 60 years of experience.

Leroy
Leroy came to Tampa in 1958 as a teenager and worked different jobs.  In 1961, he was employed by Stewart Mellon Company (and married Ruthanne) and worked for 15 years as a helper and worked his way up as an apprentice and then mechanic installing ceramic tile, marble and terrazzo in residential homes to huge commercial jobs. In 1976, Leroy decided to pursue his own business (Connell Tile Company) and continued building the company with large commercial and residential accounts.  In 1997, Leroy decided to join Brian and Tammy in establishing Connell Homes, Inc.

Ruthanne
Ruthanne came to Tampa in 1960 from New York and worked for Del Monte.  In 1967, she decided to work at home to raise her children.  In 1976, she decided to work as an office manager for Connell Tile Company.  In 1987 she established and presided over a reputable book store and sold it in 1997.  Ruthanne continued working part time with Connell Tile while operating her book store.  In 1997, Ruthanne decided to use her talent and knowledge and join Brian and Tammy in establishing Connell Homes, Inc.

Leroy and Ruthanne decided to retire in 2006 and have been actively involved in their community, church functions and managing their property rental(s).

Brian
Brian graduated from Plant City High School in 1981 and established Brian Connell Tile in 1986.  The business successfully grew each year with numerous residential and commercial accounts.  Throughout the years Brian also invested and rehabbed several homes.  He grew to love customizing and making each home more livable with new innovative ideas.  In 1997, Brian established Connell Homes, Inc. and is continuing to build custom homes for satisfied clients.

Tammy
Tammy graduated from Plant City High School in 1987 and married Brian in 1989 and both have 4 children.  In 1993, she joined Brian and became the office manager for Brian Connell Tile and continued as office manager for Connell Homes Inc.  Brian and Tammy love the satisfaction of "TURNING YOUR DREAMS INTO REALITY" and driving by homes they have built over the years for their clients and watching each family grow and enjoy their homes and dropping in from time to time.

In addition, with the leadership of Brian and Tammy, Connell Homes, Inc.  continually strives for new and innovative ways to improve quality  relationships and satisfaction with our customers.  our goal is to provide maximum comfort and excellent craftsmanship while being entrusted with our client's lifetime investment.
